Leach Botanical Garden is located in a woodland hollow carved by Johnson Creek in southeast Portland. This botanical garden specializes in preserving the original Leach collection as well as introducing Northwest native plants through educational programs, conservation, and community involvement.
This gravel based, shared-use trail in east Clark County is located on the westside of Lacamas Lake and Lacamas Creek. It provides superb opportunities to view birds, rock formations and waterfalls, along with offering picnicking stops, extensive waterfront access and a children's play center. Clark County and Camas own interconnected trail sections - some paved, some primitive. There is ample parking at the south end of the trail, at Heritage Park. There is a small parking area at the north end of the trail, off Goodwin Road.
This soft-surfaced trail is located in a dense forest of Western Red Cedars and mixed-Deciduous trees in a neighborhood in southeast Gresham. The natural area features numerous native plants including vine maple, snowberry and trillium.
