Salmon Creek Regional Park/Klineline Pond

Salmon Creek Regional Park/Klineline Pond is a very popular place to swim, with a bathhouse, roped swimming areas and observation platforms.

The park also features 35 acres of developed parkland and 368 acres of undeveloped greenspace. Salmon Creek Regional park is also the eastern trailhead for the Salmon Creek Greenway Trail, and backs up to the Salmon Creek Sports Association Complex, home of Vancouver girls softball.

Oxbow Regional Park

Located within the wild and scenic Sandy River Gorge, Oxbow Regional Park offers rare access to many of the region’s natural wonders while providing a variety of unique recreational opportunities. The river draws swimmers, rafters, kayakers and drift boats carrying anglers.

From I-84, take the Troutdale exit (17). Go past the truck stop to the light and turn right on 257th. Go 3 miles to Division Street and turn left. Continue east for 5 miles following the signs. Turn left on Oxbow Parkway and drive 1.6 miles to the park entrance.

North Clackamas Aquatic Park

The North Clackamas Aquatic Park features six swimming pools, three water slides, a young children's pool (6 years old and younger) with Sammie the Seal slide and a 29-foot rock climbing wall.

During the fun Big Surf! swim times, the entire facility is open, allowing all to enjoy everything from the waterslides to the hot tub and the adult lap pool. Also during these sessions, the state-of-the-art wave pool generates four-foot waves.

Memorial Park

Memorial Park is Wilsonville’s oldest and largest park. The park contains both active and passive use areas, and includes significant natural areas with an extensive trail system. Boeckman Creek bisects the park. Memorial Park also has ½ mile of Willamette River frontage with views from the trail system. The site contains all of the formal athletic fields owned by the City, which are heavily used by local leagues.

Lewis and Clark State Recreation Site

Located at the western gateway of the Columbia River Gorge, Lewis & Clark State Park appropriately honors its legendary namesakes who camped and explored here in November, 1805. The park is situated near the mouth of the Sandy River where it spills into the mighty Columbia River and at one of the entrances to the Historic Columbia River Highway. A flat, grassy, tree-dotted park invites blankets and sun-lovers to come spend a leisurely day. One of the most popular swimming spots on the Sandy River is adjacent to the park, as well as a public boat launch.

Hathaway Park

Hathaway Park spanning is considered the "jewel" of Washougal. Hathaway Park provides several recreational opportunities. Accommodations for visitors of all ages include playgrounds, play sculptures, benches, picnic shelters, and sports fields. The biggest attraction to this park is the versatility of the Washougal River for swimming, fishing, drift boating, and kayaking.

Governor Tom McCall Waterfront Park

Tom McCall Waterfront Park is one of the Portland's main attractions — with beautiful views of the Willamette River, and home to the Battleship Oregon Memorial, the Founders Stone, Salmon Street Springs, the Japanese American Historical Plaza, the Police Memorial, and the Friendship Circle with numerous sculptures.
