This committee is exploring the feasibility of an adventure event similar to the “Pole, Pedal, Paddle” in Bend or the “Ski to Sea” in Bellingham. It is hoped that the event will be a fundraiser for Intertwine activities. We are hoping to launch the event as early as fall 2013.
Members met in September to discuss the general concept for a fundraising “Pole, Pedal, Paddle”-style race for this region. TIA staff is currently discussing with various experts who have planned successful adventure races the next steps in planning an event in the Portland- Vancouver region.
