Alliance Development and Management Committee

Members: Bruce Barbarasch, Janet Bebb, Judy Bluehorse Skelton, David Cohen, Deb Lev, Meryl Redisch

Staff: Mike Wetter, Irene Vlach

The Committee decided to narrow its focus, prioritizing the following areas:

  • Partner benefits and adding value to partners
  • Develop strategies for partner retention
  • Refine strategies for new partner cultivation
  • Further develop the equity strategy

The Committee made the following suggestions:

  • Expand the Committee, preferably with new partner members
  • Make TIA a hub between partners and potential partners. Help partners organize outings for groups in underrepresented communities. Hold board meetings in various locations and follow up with an outing with a partner organization
  • Call The Intertwine Summits “networking events” or something less grand sounding than “summit”, which can put people off
  • Work with a business partner to host an event for other businesses at which Mike can make a presentation
  • Reassign the calls to partners by board members to align them better with each other • Increase board diversity; offer an equity training workshop for board members *At the next meeting the Committee will focus on partner retention.
