September 2014 -- The Environmental Education Association of Oregon received a $100,000, 2-year grant to fund a Regional Environmental Education Coordinator who will have a direct connection with The Intertwine Alliance's Conservation Education Initiative.

September 2014 -- The Intertwine Alliance Conservation Education Leadership Council will reconvene in early October to review the change model it's been working on and to develop a clearer vision of the council's role and next steps.

September 2014 -- The Intertwine Alliance Nature Play Working Group’s symposium and related activities all went well in early September. One event was a “swarm," a brainstorming session to see how we can best move a larger collaborative effort forward, with about 20 people in attendance.

September 2014 -- Intertwine Alliance staff have pulled together an initial group to form the core of a Communications Advisory Committee, with a first meeting scheduled for Oct. 10.
