East Multnomah County Summit

Thursday, May 12, 2016 - 12:00pm to 5:00pm
The Intertwine Alliance, City of Gresham, Friends of Nadaka, Metro, Multnomah County and Springwater Parks & Community

This spring of 2016, instead of one big summit, The Intertwine Alliance is convening four county summits to strengthen sub-regional relationships, celebrate successes and build for the future.

All welcome.

Please join Metro Councilor Shirley Craddick, Troutdale Mayor Doug Daoust and other East Multnomah County leaders for a day of networking and timely table discussions about challenges and opportunities. We'll devote time to sharing recent success stories, identifying gaps, weighing the case for further investment, and discussing both near- and longer-term solutions. You'll stay engaged with a mix of networking, presentations, table discussions and group voting.

Cary Simmons, Parks for People - Northwest Program Manager with the Trust for Public Land, will give a 30-minute presentation about "The Importance of Nature, Parks & Recreation."

Lunch will be served. For those who need transportation, free shuttle rides to and from Gresham City Hall and Plaza Del Sol in Rockwood are available -- but space is limited, so please register early.

Please RSVP here by Thursday, May 5, so we can place the catering order. Questions? Email Lauren at lauren@theintertwine.org.
