Rock Creek is an important tributary of the Clackamas River. Rock Creek is home to salmon, beaver, and Osprey. Volunteers will be planting native trees like western red cedar, and native shrubs like thimbleberry. Volunteers will also be installing coffee bags as a weed barrier and mulching.Planting native trees and shrubs will help shade the stream, prevent erosion and improve fish and wildlife habitat.

Take Sunnyside Rd. east to 172nd turn left at light and continue 1/2 mile to Troge Rd. on right. Site is next door to Pleasant Valley Nursery at 11822 SE 172nd. Park in Pleasant Valley Nursery or at the new subdivision across the street from the nursery.
