Health and Nature

An ever-increasing body of research confirms the direct connection between a healthy environment and healthy residents. Our Nature and Human Health Initiative is committed to building bridges between the environmental and health care communities, co-leveraging assets for community projects, and jointly broadcasting this positive message. 
 

June 2015 --The Intertwine Alliance held its third Health and Nature Forum on June 11. With about 65 people in attendance, we rolled up our sleeves and dug into the possibility of creating collaborative projects. There was enormous enthusiasm and interest, with many new voices joining the rich conversations.


May 2015 -- On June 11, The Intertwine Alliance will host its third Health & Nature Forum, building on the foundational work of the previous two gatherings in 2014. 


September 2014 -- Registration continues for the Fall Health & Nature Forum scheduled for Oct. 15 at Portland State University.
