New faces join long-time partners at 2014 Spring Summit

February 14, 2014 | Oregon Zoo, Portland, OR -- With one month to go before The Intertwine Alliance 2014 Spring Summit, a healthy mix of new faces have already registered to join long-time Alliance partners at the March 19th event.

The Intertwine animals schmooze at our summits!

The Spring 2014 Summit will be devoted to exploring -- together with the Alliance's 110 partners from across the Portland/Vancouver region -- how the framework of Collective Impact can help enhance the power of our environmental community to achieve real change.

To help shape future priorities for collaborative Intertwine projects, this event will center on four breakout sessions, each focused on a specific topic: from human health to urban forestry.

The event will kick off with Intertwine 101 for new and prospective partners, followed by a keynote address from Steve Whitney of the Bullitt Foundation. Then, participants will break into dynamic work groups dedicated to identifying next steps for our growing coalition.

You won’t want to miss this important new chapter in the evolution of our region’s environmental legacy!
