On June 11, The Intertwine Alliance will host its third Health & Nature Forum, building on the foundational work of the previous two gatherings in 2014.

Exploring the intersection of nature and health, and the ways that environmental and health sectors can strategically collaborate, these forums are the nexus for cutting-edge discussions about nature-based interventions leading to positive health outcomes.

We warmly invite those new to our forums to arrive a few minutes early for Health & Nature 101, an update on the trajectory of this initiative and the role the Intertwine Alliance plays as a catalyst for these discussions.

A key feature of this forum will be to break into smaller discussion groups to explore a range of potential projects. To that end we are asking individuals to look at the list of topics below and, when registering for the event, select the one that most appeals to you and your work, or that you find most compelling. This will allow us to better plan the forum.

  • Inserting Nature into our Healthcare Model
  • Workplace Wellness and Nature
  • Nature at our Schools
  • One-on-One with Nature
  • Bikes, Pedestrians, Health and Nature
  • Other (areas you are interested in that are not represented in the above discussions)
