Please join us for Rural Living Field Day, Saturday, September 28 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at Howell Territorial Park on Sauvie Island!  Get to know your neighbors and learn about issues facing rural landowners every day. Multiple sessions feature experts on topics including pollinators, small farms, invasive weeds, wildlife, healthy woods, stream restoration and more.  It's easy to register--just click Events at www.wmswcd.org and fill out the form. The cost is only $10 per person/$15 per couple/family.

Let's Go Kayaking is designed for those who are interested in kayaking but don't have the experience, skills, or equipment.

Registration is required and a per person registration fee is $15.  Open to paddlers 8 years and older, although 8-14 year olds must be accompanied by an adult in a 2-person kayak. Children under 18 must register with an accompanying parent/guardian.

What's with all the disc golf hype? One sunny day at a disc golf course and you'll understand. All you need is a disc and a disc course to enjoy the latest sport sweeping the nation. At Let's Go Disc Golfing!, we'll teach you all you need to know to get started on your own. Learn about the different sizes and types of discs, different throws, and then try out your new skills with others!  Discs and course are provided.  Bring personal footwear, water, sunscreen, and dress for the weather!  Ages 8 years old and above welcome (children 8-14 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian).
