From wetlands to water shoes, greenways to growth strategies, the
partners of The Intertwine Alliance meet twice a year to celebrate our
common ground. And with successes to share, people to meet and promos to
knock your ponchos off, this Spring Summit is not one to miss.

Registration: Summit attendance is free, but REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

by former senior NPR correspondent, Ketzel Levine. Plus, get your

3:00 - 3:30: State of The Intertwine: Making
the Case. From Hockinson Meadows to nine
holes in Hillsboro, the first annual State of The
Intertwine Report makes the case for investing in
The Intertwine. Witness the debut of an exciting
new tool for policymakers and civic leaders - just
one way The Intertwine Alliance gets us on message
to get the work done.
3:30 - 4:15: Promotions Campaign Debut. Engaging
people with nature - that's a goal on which all our partners agree.
David Karstad of Frank Creative shows us how our new campaign will help
The Intertwine Alliance win hearts and minds - on street corners and
civic agendas, in neighborhood parks and national forums.
4:15 - 4:45: 25 Years of Regional Greenspace
Planning. Launched
over beer one fine evening in June 2007, The
Intertwine Alliance is the product of a greenspace
movement 25 years in the making. Celebrate
movement highlights - from the vision of
the 1903 Olmsted Plan to the 1992
Greenspaces Master Plan - as we honor the
movement's many leaders and toast The Intertwine
Alliance's next 25 years.
