Join tribal member David Harrelson for a night of local history. He will share with us the history of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde from pre- European contact, through treaties and relocation, and into the present. Come learn about native people of western Oregon!

David Harrelson is Kalapuya and a member of The Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde Community of Oregon. He works for his community as the Cultural Protection Specialist for the Tribal Historic Preservation Office (THPO). He received his Bachelor's degree in History from Lewis & Clark College and has areas of academic interest focused on cultural plants, contact era history of the Pacific Northwest, and maintenance of ecological systems through traditional land management practices.
