Who makes the soil? Is it the mushrooms, the worms, or the bacteria? Hike the trails in the park to try to solve the mystery. Visit Duff Town to discover the stuff in the duff and take a close look at snags and nurse logs. Bring a lunch, water bottle and two snacks. Dress for the weather. Suitable for ages 7 - 11 years. Advanced registration required; call 503/629-6350. An assessment fee will be charged for out-of-district patrons.
