"The Columbia Slough Watershed Council works to connect the community with the watershed through restoration, recreation and restoration in North and Northeast Portland. Join us for Stewardship Saturdays, our monthly restoration work parties at locations all around the watershed!"

Sumner Association of Neighbors has had a longstanding commitment to the stewardship of Johnson Lake - and now you can help take care of this valuable urban greenspace! Remove invasive species, pick up garbage and help maintain walking trails during this morning work party. Learn more about the history of the Johnson Lake Property on our website and sign up to volunteer today! Please register on our website to stay informed about this event.

This event runs rain or shine! Be sure to dress for the weather and bring water, rain gear and sturdy shoes. Snacks, tools, training and gloves will be provided. Parents should note that there is a water body on this site. This opportunity is open to volunteers 16 years and older, unless accompanied by an adult. Volunteers under 18 years old should contact the Council for a special youth waiver.
