"Gorgeous Relay" Race Volunteers Needed!

Friends has teamed up with Gorgeous Relay to provide volunteers along the scenic race course from Wyeth, OR to the Willamette for this fun relay run event. We'll need 22 friendly individuals to be stationed along the race course to direct traffic and runners at relay exchanges, and Friends will receive $100 for each of you that volunteer! While teams will be running for the full day, your shift will be just 3-5 hours. The race will end with a celebration party at Basecamp Brewing in Portland.

The Forest Park Marathon and Half Marathon

The Forest Park Trail Marathon and Half-Marathon is a challenging, fun and rewarding running event benefitting the Forest Park Conservancy. The full marathon route traverses 26.2 miles of Forest Park's legendary 80+ mile trail system. The half marathon (13.1 miles) is available for runners not ready to commit to a full, and is open to walkers as well.

New this year! You can choose to make the minimum donation (or more) when you register, or you may use our online "Friends Asking Friends" tools to raise sponsorships from friends and family. 1/2 Marathon is $100 and Full Marathon is $150. All funds raised will benefit The Forest Park Conservancy, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and restoring Forest Park.
