Do you want to get your hands dirty?  Make a difference in a few short hours?  Learn to plant trees and meet great people?  If so, join us in SE Portland on Saturday, April 9th!

Join us on the south side of Powell Butte Natural Area along the Johnson Creek floodplain to mulch native trees and shrubs and remove invasive species in partnership with the Johnson Creek Watershed Council and Portland Parks & Recreation with support from East Multnomah Soil & Water Conservation District and Metro.

Looking to volunteer as a group? RSVPs are kindly requested for groups of more than 5 people - click HERE to do so. RSVPs are not required for individuals or groups of 4 or fewer -- you can simply show up!

Join us for the second of two plantings this season in partnership with the City of Hillsboro and Clean Water Services at Jackson Bottom Wetlands preserve! This planting is part of the Tree For All campaign which has planted over three million native plants in the Tualatin River Watershed in the past decade! Clean Water Services, Friends of Trees, thousands of volunteers, other non-profits, city partners, and private landowners will be working together this season to continue the success of this program.

Seaside's Treasure the Beach December Beach Cleanup

Organized cleanups will take place, rain or shine, the first Saturday of every month. Sign in at The Seashore Inn on the Beach, 60 N. Prom, Seaside, get your bag, and, when done, drop it in a trash receptacle along the Prom. Stay the day and enjoy our shops and restaurants.

Spring Park Planting and Restoration Tour

Willamette Riverkeeper, North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District, the Island Station Neighborhood, and the North Clackamas Urban Watershed Council invite you to join us for a fall planting event at  Spring Park Natural Area. The park is currently undergoing a major restoration to both the trail system and the Willamette River side channel adjacent to the park. This planting event will be your first opportunity to see all the major improvements and learn more about this details of this exciting restoration project. Ultimately, the project will be of great benefit to fish, wildlife, and our community- and this is your chance to get involved by helping us to plant the old trail!

When: Saturday, 11/21 from 9:00am - 12:00pm

Details: Please wear sturdy and shoes, dress for the weather and bring water! Gloves and other planting tool supplies will be provided. By volunteering at this event you will receive a discount on dinner at Amadeus Manor.  All ages and abilities are welcome to attend, and better yet, lunch will be provided by Cha-Cha-Cha!
