Join Tryon Creek Watershed Council for our 7th annual Watershed Wide Event! We will be hosting a celebratory lunch followed by hands-on restoration at 8 different work sites throughout the Tryon Creek watershed. Projects will include native plant installation and invasive species removal. Don't miss this fun and rewarding community event! Volunteer check-in and a light lunch will be from 11:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Event kickoff starts at 12:00 p.m. Volunteers will meet with their designated site leader and either walk/carpool to their work site. All groups will return to the church no later than 3:30 p.m. Please wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, and weather-approriate clothing. Gloves, tools, and site leaders provided. E-mail specific site questions to volunteer@tryoncreek.org This is a great event for groups! Are you a Boy Scout troop, church organization, school club, etc. looking for a service opportunity? We would love to have you participate! Activities include: Invasive Plant Removal, Native Planting.

Venue Details: 
Park in the St. Marks Presbyterian Church parking lot. Volunteer check-in will be located inside the church building. Follow signs from the parking area to the main entrance.
