Together, we can keep Oregon's beaches beautiful. Register here: http://solv.org/what-we-do/solve-spring-oregon-beach-cleanup

For more information, visit www.solveoregon.org, email morgan@solv.org, or call 503-844-9571 ext 332.

This year holds special significance in Oregon for those who value the
environment and SOLVE. March 22, 2013 would have been the 100th Birthday of
Governor Tom McCall who founded SOLVE in 1969. We honor the man who made
us think about who we are and what we value as Oregonians. Governor McCall made a
profound impact on our state, passing the nation's first bottle bill and placing our beaches
under public ownership. Help continue his legacy of environmental stewardship by
participating in the 28th annual SOLVE Spring Oregon Beach Cleanup.

Last spring, more than 3,700 volunteers removed an estimated 60,483 pounds of
trash off the coast, including 1,565 pounds of recycled materials. Help us continue this
tradition by volunteering this year at your favorite coastal area and help keep our beaches
as beautiful as possible.
