Become a Columbia Springs Volunteer Lead

2013 Training Day: Saturday, January 26, 10am-4pm

Are you interested in getting involved and giving back? Do you enjoy working outdoors and restoring our natural environment? You should consider becoming a Columbia Springs Volunteer Lead!

Volunteer Leads spend five Saturdays a year helping to lead restoration parties that improve the historic Vancouver Trout Hatchery and Columbia Springs’ 100-acre natural area.  Leads also help out at community events to foster greater awareness of the natural world and inspire stewardship.  Leads also help out at community education events that foster greater awareness of the natural world and inspire stewardship.  No experience necessary!  Great opportunity to learn or further develop restoration and leadership skills.  Opportunities for internship credits through some universities and colleges available.

Training is free, but pre-registration and a completed online volunteer application is required.  For more information, contact Mariah Acton at volunteer@columbiasprings.org, call 360-882-0936 ext. 230, or visit http://www.columbiasprings.org/get-involved/volunteer-at-columbia-springs/volunteer-leads/
