Hear the story of how a dedicated group of people --and one especially inspired individual!-- turned the tide on English ivy and other non-native plants in Tryon Creek State Natural Area and gave the native biodiversity a chance to recover. Tour before and after areas with various years since restoration, and view spots covered with other exotics besides ivy to hear what the plans are for the future! This free event is appropriate for ages 13 and older. Please preregister at www.tryonfriends.org.
