Seaside's "Treasure the Beach" April Beach Cleanup

The City of Seaside, Seaside Downtown Development Association, and Beach Drive Buccaneers invite you to join with us in cleaning up marine debris on our favorite Oregon Beach.  Organized cleanups will take place, rain or shine, the first Saturday of every month.  Sign in at The Seashore Inn on the Beach, 60 N. Prom, Seaside, get your bag, and, when done, drop it in a trash receptacle along the Prom.  Stay the day and enjoy our shops and restaurants.

Sandy Bluff Park Work Party - SOLVE IT for Sandy

Join the Clackamas River Basin Council for a volunteer work party at Sandy Bluff Park, as part of SOLVE IT for Sandy (a community Earth Day cleanup and restoration event) on Saturday, April 26th from 9 am to 1 pm. Community members will convene at the Sandy Community/Senior Center at 9 am for registration, breakfast treats, and free giveaways before heading over to Sandy Bluff Park for some good times cleaning up trash and mulching around newly planted native trees and shrubs. 

The Clackamas River Basin Council has partnered with City of Sandy at Sandy Bluff Park as part of the Shade Our Streams program. We've tackled 3.5 acres of weeds and planted 8,500 native trees and shrubs to improve fish and wildlife.

Gloves, tools, trash bags, first aid, water, and instruction provided. Please be sure to dress appropriately for all weather conditions and terrain. You may want to bring your favorite work gloves, waterproof boots, rain jacket, water bottle, long pants or long sleeve shirt. All volunteers must sign a waiver.

Take Hwy 84 towards Troutdale. Just over the Sandy River bridge take the Lewis & Clark State Park exit on your right. At the stop sign go left up the river to the stop sign and go right back over the river to Glenn Otto Park. Just past the park is Jackson Park Rd. Follow Jackson Park Rd across the private bridge and then go right into 1003 Jackson Park Rd. Park on the grass on the right. There will be SOLVE signs along Jackson Park Rd.
