United StatesHeron Pointe Wetland is degraded by the presence of an invasive grass:reed canary grass. Volunteers will be planting native willow, Oregon ash as well as native shrubs like douglas spirea. Volunteers will also be installing coffee bags as a weed barrier and mulching. Native plants will add needed biodiversity improving the overall health of the wetland.

I-84 to exit 14, north on Fairview Parkway, right on NE Sandy Blvd. east, left on NE 223rd Ave, left on Bramble Way, left on Panache Ave, right on Palisade Drive. Park along Palisade Drive, walk off trail at end of cul-de-sac onto site.
