SOLVE
Address:
SE 129th and Happy Valley Mt. Scott Trail
Happy Valley, OR 97086
United States

The site in Happy Valley follows the Mt Scott Creek stream corridor and Mt Scott Creek trail for approximately 500ft. Mt Scott Creek is home to native fish. Large cedar trees are numerous but English ivy and other weeds have invaded the stream corridor. With most of the weeds removed volunteers will be planting native trees and shrubs, including salmonberry and indian plum. Volunteers will also be mulching and removing remnant patches of English ivy. Native plants help shade the stream, prevent erosion and improve fish and wildlife habitat.
