Work alongside others at the beautiful Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge! You will play a key role in helping biological staff keep wetlands healthy by searching for and removing invasive ricefield bulrush. You will also have opportunities to learn about native wildlife management and view amazing wetland wildlife.

Other details: First time volunteers should arrive a few minutes early for paperwork. Dress for the weather, bring waterproof boots (some available on-site). Rain or shine! We provide training, gloves, snacks, and water. Volunteers under 18 must have registration form signed by a parent/guardian, under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.  Volunteers should be at least 12 years old.

Venue Details: 
After meeting and signing paperwork, we will drive to one of several wetlands.
