Kick off the new year right with the Clackamas River Basin Council at Rock Creek! And check off all those 2015 resolutions: make a difference (check), spend more time with family/friends (check), meet new people (check), get outside and exercise (check), and many many more (check, check, check). So don't wait, join CRBC on Saturday, January 3rd for a tree planting at our newest restoration project in Damascus. Volunteers are needed from 9 am to noon to help plant native trees and shrubs with local elementary students and we want YOU to be there! This is a family friendly event complete with donuts and sprinkles!! --The ROCK CREEK PARTNERSHIP, a collaboration between the Clackamas River Basin Council, Friends of Trees, and SOLVE through funding by Water Environment Service's RIVERHEALTH Stewardship Program on behalf of Clackamas County Service District #1 -- works together to improve water quality in the Rock Creek basin by planting native trees and shrubs and removing invasive weeds along streamsides. Activities include: Native Planting.
