White Oak Savanna Restoration Project with students from Japan

We will be joining 50 students (who are visiting from Japan and learning English on the Marylhurst campus) as we do restoration work removing thistle at the lovely White Oak Savanna in West Linn. The views are spectacular from the upper trail. Please bring a good pair of gloves and some loppers or hedge shears. We will work for two hours and then go to a nearby farm (10 minutes away) to eat our brown bag lunches and have a tour of a century old farm. Please bring your own lunch and you can buy drinks and fresh fruit at the farm if you'd like. Activities include: Invasive Plant Removal.
