Sage Jensen, biologist, environmental consultant, and botany teacher extraordinaire, is here to help you master the art of winter twig identification. It is a fun and interesting class, with basic technical information, including an afternoon of field experience. You will leave this session knowing how to identify the twigs of more than 20 native trees and shrubs. We will begin in the classroom, and then move outdoors for some hands on experience identifying winter twigs. Space is limited, so please register early on our web site. All participants will graduate with access to the full presentation. All participants are welcome to join our Stream Team Captain group after the Winter Twig Training for lunch and an afternoon of watershed restoration activities such as invasive removal, tree planting, coffee bagging, caging and mulching
