Join us every Wednesday from noon - 1 pm for Lunch with the Birds! Bring binoculars and a field guide if you have them. A few pairs of loaner binoculars are available. We meet rain or shine and spend our time outside. This event is free for all ages and you do not need to pre-register. All four June dates (3, 10, 17, 24) are at Shute Park, 799 SE 10th Ave, Hillsboro, OR 97123. We will meet at the parking lot off of SE 10th Ave., in the southeast corner of the park. The towering Douglas Fir trees are home to many birds and will provide us with shade!

This 13-acre community park provides lots of opportunities for fun and relaxation to Hillsboro residents. The reservable picnic shelter and other picnic areas around the park have many tables for large gatherings. Benches are provided throughout the park along the paved paths. The large playground, pickleball court, performance stage and open lawn offer a wide range of options for activities. The park can be accessed from all sides and accessible parking is available on the west, north, and south sides. Accessible restrooms and drinking fountains are available. The Shute Park Aquatic & Recreation Center, Community Senior Center, and Library are right next to the park.
