Address:
2700 NW Glencoe Rd.
Hillsboro, OR 97124
United StatesThis site at Glencoe High School is a SOLVE Green Team site where students have removed more than an acre of Himalayan blackberry and planted hundreds of native plants. The final steps in retoring the site are removal of some invasive weeds and in-fill planting of native shrubs. The site borders are large wetland complex. On the opposite side of the wetlands neighbors are working hard to enhance the wetlands edge, removing invasive vegetation and planting native trees and shrubs. Volunteers will weed, mulch, and plant native vegetation.
