Dahl Beach is located at the confluence of the Clackamas and Willamette rivers. The confluence is an important location for both juvenile and adult salmon. Osprey can often be seen in the area. This native tree planting project is part of a larger stream restoration project initiated by the Clackamas River Basin Council. Volunteers will be planting native trees like western red cedar, and native shrubs like salmonberry and indian plum. Volunteers will also be mulching and installing live willow stakes. Native plantings help filter pollutants, provide shade, and improve fish and wildlife habitat.

From I-205 take exit 9. Head North on McLoughlin Blvd. Take a left onto River Rd and another left at Meldrum Bar Park Rd. Go past soccer fields on left. Take left at community gardens and the parking area ends at Dahl Beach. Look for the SOLVE sign.
