Venue Details:
Stormwater walk starts at Jamison Square (810 NW 11th Ave, continues on to Tanner Springs Park and winds up at The Fields (1099 NW Overton St). Gather at Jamison Square (NW corner of NW Kearney & NW Park southbound). The Fields, The Pearl District’s newest and largest park, is a 3.2-acre engineering marvel of Fido-friendliness, featuring a dog park with three-foot-high fences and soft gravel surfaces for sensitive paws. There’s an 8,000-sf off-leash area and even a special spot for small/shy dogs. KPFF civil engineers kept the dogs in mind in our design, with permeable pavement and vegetated rain garden infiltration basins to mitigate the need for piped storm drainage utilities.
