In this event we will be cleaning up trash along the streets in the Mill Park neighborhood area. We will begin at Floyd Light City Park at the end of SE Yamhill St, and our coverage from there will be between SE Alder St and SE Salmon St, and SE 111th St and 117th St. Since this event takes place the day after Halloween, families and children are encouraged to participate in the cleanup in their Halloween costumes! At the end of the event we plan on holding a costume contest for the kids (with prizes!). This goal of this cleanup is not only to pick up candy wrappers and other trash, but to create connections between residents of this neighborhood and provide a fun, helpful activity for kids and adults alike.
