The ROCK CREEK PARTNERSHIP, a collaboration between the Clackamas River Basin Council (CRBC), Friends of Trees, and SOLVE through funding by Water Environment Service's RIVERHEALTH Stewardship Program on behalf of Clackamas County Service District #1 -- works together to improve water quality in the Rock Creek basin by planting native trees and shrubs near streamsides and removing invasive weeds. CRBC will be hard at work again on Saturday, October 4th at our newest project along Rock Creek in Damascus. Volunteers are needed from 9 am to noon to help plant and pull weeds. Join us for this family friendly event!

Gloves, tools, first aid, water, plants, and instruction provided. Please be sure to dress appropriately for all weather conditions and terrain. You may want to bring your favorite work gloves, waterproof boots, rain jacket, water bottle, long plants and long sleeve shirt. All volunteers must sign a waiver.

This planting is part of the Tree For All campaign which strives to plant one million native trees and shrubs during the 2014-2015 planting season within the Tualatin River Watershed! Clean Water Services, Friends of Trees, thousands of volunteers, other non-profits, city partners, and private landowners will all be working together to make this happen! Arrive as early as 8:30am to meet with Tree for All partners, partake of refreshments and enter to win a commemorative Tree for All cap, courtesy of David Evans & Associates.
