Woodstock Community Annual Clean-Up

Every Spring we gather at the Community Center in the morning to sign-up for clean-up duties. Coffee, Water and Pastries are provided. Then organized teams of volunteers pick up litter, sweep sidewalks and spruce up landscaping. Lunch is provided for all the volunteers at noon. This is a fun day for all. We recommend that you bring your own work gloves and reusable water bottle. Children must be supervised by an adult. Activities include: Litter Cleanup.

Volunteer Freelancers will take a short hike to one of our various sites and work off-trail removing English ivy. This is a DIRTY job so come prepared in grubby, long-sleeved clothing and boots. We'll provide gloves, tools and snacks.Volunteers will meet at the Lower Macleay field house located at 2960 NW Upshur St. Activities include: Invasive Plant Removal.

National Trails Day at Trapper Creek Wilderness

National Trails Day at Mount St. Helens

Volunteer for Trails on National Trails Day! Washington Trails Association (WTA) and the Mount St. Helens Institute joined forces to construct this newest trail on the Monument. Now its time to do some maintenance and restoration work.

The Volcano View Trail begins at the popular Ape Cave and in a mile pops out at the upper trailhead parking area next to a great view of the south side of the Volcano.

Come lend a hand restoring native vegetation around the viewing platform and doing annual trail maintenance. No experience necessary!

Volunteers of all ages are encouraged to join adopt-a-park leaders for ongoing work parties at LeRoy Haagen Park on the 4th Saturday of each month. Main volunteer priorities are to pick up litter, remove invasive plants, spread mulch and more.

We ask all volunteers to wear long pants, closed-toe shoes and work gloves. Meet at the bathroom on the east end of the park near the main entrance. We look forward to volunteering with you!
