Join us for one or both of these spring break afternoons exploring nature.  Spring showers won't stop us from spending the entire afternoon outside as we follow the trails in search of the wild side of the park. Come dressed for the weather and bring along a snack and water bottle.  Suitable for ages 6 -9 years. Go on a scaventer hunt in the forest.  Sharpen your observation skills as you use your eyes and ears to find nature's treasures.  Learn fascinating facts about forest life as we discuss what we find.

This is a great camp for making friends and having fun while discovering nature.  Expand your knowledge of science, learn about plants and animals, hike two to five miles daily, play games and see awesome natural sites at locations around our region.  Campers need to dress for the weather and bring a lunch, two snacks, a bottle of water and a backpack each day. Suitable for ages 7 -11 years.  Advanced registration required; call 503/629-6350. An assessment fee will be charged for out-of-district patrons. $186 for one week of full-day camp.

Join forces with other campers this week as we take on the wild world. Explore the Nature Park and other natural areas to learn methods of foraging and tracking for wild food and other survival techniques.  What plants are safe to eat? Are you brave enough to eat a bug? Can you camouflage your fort? Could you find your way out of the forest? Field trips include the Tillamook Forest and Oxbow Regional Park.

Build your child's sense of wonder about nature and invite them to explore wildlife and the world around them. Become a nature superhero for a week as you create your own secret identity. Explore your superhero powers as you learn about the power of spider webs, the secrets of flight and the wonders of camouflage.

Hunt for hidden friends and look for the many colors of green in the forest.  Make jingle anklets and learn a jig. Come dance as we look for leprechauns in the forest.
