* An often overlooked facet of true sustainability in residential remodeling is attractive home design which stands the test of time. A remodeled home that conveys a sense of beauty and harmony, both inside and out, will be less likely to be torn down and replaced or worse: have to be remodeled again! This class will explore key design concepts to help participants learn how to create a more functional, beautiful and visually appealing remodel. Using real-life case studies of actual design challenges, (including some unfortunate examples) participants will learn how core design considerations were made creating a more successful, and sustainable, design solutions.
