Committee met on November 21 to discuss partner benefits and potential partners. TIA staff gave an update on progress since the last meeting, including distributing monthly newsletter and revamping the website.  In the newsletters, there is a greater focus on partners and updates on committees/petals. The website’s “About” page now includes a detailed description of all committees/petals, along with meeting schedules and location, and a contact person. All current TIA initiatives can also be found on this page.

Members agreed that there should be different types of partners for each of the three different partners: sustaining, contributing and full partners. They also discussed a capacity building grant that to support a new position at the TIA office.

Next steps include drafting three different lists of benefits for each of the partner categories for the review of the committee and board. TIA staff will follow up with committee members on an individual basis for support in contacting potential partners.
