Come learn the basics of making cordage from natural materials. Topics covered will include material selection, processing fibers and reverse wrap cordage.

Identifying plants is easy once you know what to look for. This class will teach you to recognize the patterns that will help you easily identify the common plants of this area, both in flower and when not flowering. We will cover botany terminology, common plant families, and parts of a flower. Common uses of various plants will also be covered, because really knowing plants is a participatory skill, not just an intellectual one.
Location: 3-Creeks Natural Area (also called North Clackamas District Park or Harmony Road Neighborhood Park). We will meet at the adjacentNorth Clackamas Aquatic Park, located at 7300 SE Harmony Road.
