Bring Your Own Boat Paddle

Load up your canoe or kayak for a springtime paddle!  Paddler and naturalist Troy Clark will lead this group trip in search of bald eagles, otters, turtles, and osprey.  $5 suggested donation, suitable for adults and teens 12, pre-registration requested.

You must bring your own canoe or kayak and lifejacket to participate in this paddle trip. NO equipment is available to borrow from the Council.

Learn Animal Tracking with Cascadia Wild’s Wolverine Tracking Project!

Love to snowshoe? Interested in the animals that live on Mt Hood? Join the Wolverine Tracking Project, and develop animal tracking skills while helping us survey for rare carnivores, such as wolverine, on Mt Hood. Season cost is $65; family friendly. Next classroom training is January 9th!

The Wolverine Tracking Project is a place for new and experienced trackers alike to strengthen their skills, get together with like minded people, and participate in a long-term survey to detect signs of rare forest carnivores. Snowshoe survey trips to the Mt Hood National Forest, lead by trained volunteers, take place all winter long.

Cascadia Wild is a Portland-based non-profit (501)(3c) organization whose mission is to inspire personal connection to nature and community.
