Have you ever thought of re-using water from your shower or washing machine to irrigate your landscape? In this workshop you'll learn some graywater basics so you can get started on your own project.
Have fun and help out at Columbia Springs! We will work on several projects around our site and end with a fun activity. Projects may include gardening, painting, trail maintenance, and more. Volunteers of all ages and abilities are welcome!
We will be pulling Ricefield Bulrush, an invasive plant. Ricefield Bulrush threatens the health of Refuge wetlands by pushing out native plants that wildlife need for food and cover. Due to volunteer efforts, ricefield bulrush on the refuge is being contained and reduced.
