The City of Seaside, Seaside Downtown Development Association, and Beach Drive Buccaneers invite you to join with us in cleaning up marine debris on our favorite Oregon Beach. Organized cleanups will take place, rain or shine, the first Saturday of every month.

Join us for another Mountain Rose River Project on Friday, December 5th from 10am - 2pm! We will spend the day removing trash from the section of riverbank and trail that Mountain Rose Herbs adopted in 2012. Gloves, trash pickers and bags will be provided.
Tree planters needed in SE Portland on Saturday, Dec 13th! All are welcome! We'll be planting more than 250 (!) large 8-12' - trees in several neighborhoods -- and need your help!
We will introduce the basic principles of watershed restoration, and the benefits of planting native trees and plants. We will demonstrate and assist the volunteers with planting techniques. Activities include: Native Planting.
A project entering it's 5th year, we're continuing the restoration of the hillside where downtown Linnton once stood (it was torn down to widen the highway in the early '60's), planting natives as we go. We'll be uncovering century-old stone walls and foundations as we remove ivy and blackberry.

The bioenginnering field day will introduce participants to basic techniques. Participants will hear an introduction outdoors at Glenn Otto Park and then walk up Beaver Creek where several types of bioengineering techniques will be installed, stabilizing the streambank by adding vegetation.
