Let's Go Disc Golfing

What's with all the disc golf hype? One sunny day at a disc golf course and you'll understand. All you need is a disc and a disc course to enjoy the latest sport sweeping the nation. At Let's Go Disc Golfing!, we'll teach you all you need to know to get started on your own. Learn about the different sizes and types of discs, different throws, and then try out your new skills with others!  Discs and course are provided.  Bring personal footwear, water, sunscreen, and dress for the weather!  Ages 8 years old and above welcome (children 8-14 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian).

Ever wanted to learn how to canoe, but you don't know where to start? Don't have the gear for it? Then Let's Go Paddling is for you! Participants will learn the basics of canoeing in a friendly environment, and then get to explore a calm portion of the historic Willamette River. All canoe gear is provided. Participants should bring personal items such as sunscreen, shoes, water, etc. Participants must be 8 years of age or older. Pre-registration is required. See you on the water!

Become a tree as it grows from seed to snag, count banana slugs along the trail and learn about the differences between native and invasive plants, without leaving the city.
