Join volunteers for this monthly Third Saturday Cleanup in Northwest Portland. Pick up litter and remove graffiti in the area. Join us for some coffee and conversation afterward. Volunteers should come prepared with completed waiver forms (if possible) and work gloves on cold days.
The German School project is on Beaverton Creek. Beaverton Creek has been treated much like a ditch for many years, but neighborhood groups, and volunteers, with support from Clean Water Services, have begun to turn it around.
Join the Indian Creek Stewards for a morning planting native trees and shrubs along Indian Creek at our newest restoration site. This site had been invaded with blackberry, knapweed, and other nasty weeds over they years.
Council Creek is home to beaver, Red-shouldered hawks, crayfish and native fish.
Join the Rock Creek Partnership on Saturday, March 12th in Happy Valley for our fifth annual Watershed Wide Event! We'll be planting a wide diversity of native trees and shrubs to create a hedgerow on the property that will attract native pollinators and contribute to watershed health.

Linnton Creek is a principle stream in Forest Park, one of the main trail heads in the north end of the park, and its confluence with the Willamette River will have a new lagoon, as part of the the 27 acre Linnton Plywood Mill site's restoration as animal habitat (a Superfund mitigation site).
Join us at the beloved Mary S. Young Park to remove ivy at these second Saturday work days. Volunteers have worked continuously for more than 8 years to remove ivy and other non-native vegetation, plant native plants and trees, build trails, etc.
This project will start the healing process for one of the finest public stairways in the City of Portland. It has been neglected and was once taken over by ivy and laurel. The invasive species have been cleaned up and now it is time to plant native plants in the beds along the stairs.
Women in Science Day provides a great opportunity for young women in grades 6-12 in our community to learn about careers and opportunities from successful women in the field of science.
