Students from Japan (and possibly Korea and Taiwan also) will be eager to practice their English that they have been learning at the Pacific International Academy at the Marylhurst campus. They will be coming to the White Oak Savanna to work for two hours in removing invasive plants. Would you like to team up with one of these students and then go to a nearby farm to have lunch (please bring your own brown bag lunch)? It is fun to have them practice their newly acquired English and work alongside American volunteers. The trip to the farm which is only 10 minutes away is always fun, too. We hope that you will join us with this hands across the water experience and do something good for the earth. Activities include: Invasive Plant Removal.
