Join the Weed Warrior effort to restore a healthy habitat at Mt. Tabor Park. The Weed Warrior Stewardship Coordinator and volunteer crew leaders will share their knowledge of the natural habitat, demonstrate how to remove non-native vegetation, and help keep us organized, safe and motivated! We will make sure that you are comfortable and contribute in ways that match your skills and interests. Wear comfortable clothes that are appropriate for working in natural areas: long pants, long sleeves, brimmed hat to protect from sun/rain, and closed-toe sturdy shoes. Bring a water bottle. Help clean up Vancouver Lake's beach and enjoy lunch provided by New Seasons Market with other community members!  This natural lake in your backyard is home to hundreds of native plants and animals and a great place for people of all ages to enjoy. This time of year the lake needs your help removing litter build up. 

Fun for groups, families and individuals. Pre-registration is required.

This event is held in partnership with the Vancouver Watersheds Alliance and Clark County Parks, and is sponsored by the City of Vancouver, Clark County, and Port of Vancouver USA. Plan to stick around after the event to enjoy Vancouver Lake's many recreational opportunities.

Join volunteers for this monthly Third Saturday Cleanup in Northwest Portland. Pick up litter and remove graffiti in the area. Join us for some coffee and conversation afterward. Volunteers will remove trash from the beach in Seaside following the 4th of July festivities. Volunteers can meet at Prom & 12th, the Turnaround, or Prom & U. This project is a done in partnership with the Beach Drive Buccaneers, City of Seaside, Seaside Chamber, SOLVE, and the Seaside Fireworks Committee. Volunteer on Trail Saturday with the Forest Park Conservancy! We'll be clearing the trails of encroaching vegetation and repairing a section of trailside fencing.

Where: Pittock Mansion Parking Lot, near Forest Park's Wildwood Trail

Remember to pack plenty of water and dress for all weather conditions. Long pants and sturdy, closed-toe shoes are required for your safety. All training, tools and work gloves will be provided.
