Spring is turning into summer! Get outdoors early with a SOLVE Planting Day, Invasive Removal or Litter Cleanup project near you. There are tons of family friendly events to choose from across the state, with new projects added daily. You can even start a project of your own! Just a few hours on a Saturday will result in improved water quality, increased wildlife habitat and carbon storage to slow climate change. Has your child ever dissected an owl pellet? Built a robot from recycled materials? Or tasted cattail, a wetland plant? At Going Green Summer Camp, your child will explore, forage, play, and learn about sustainability and the natural world through hands-on activities and crafts. A special field trip to a local recycling center will wow your child with the power of recycling.

Sundays this summer, join a naturalist for free tours of the region's nature parks. Guided walks will introduce participants to the local plants and animals that inhabit the parks.  Each tour will leave the parking lot area promptly at 10am and 1pm.
