Please arrive 8:30-8:45am to be registered and assigned to a crew. The planting will start promptly at 9:00am. We provide breakfast snacks and hot chocolate/coffee, as well as gloves, tools and guidance. Please come dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy shoes and get ready to have fun!

Looking to volunteer as a group? RSVPs are kindly requested for groups of more than 5 people - click HERE to do so. RSVPs are not required for groups of 4 or less.

This planting is part of the Tree For All campaign which strives to plant one million native trees and shrubs during the 2014-2015 planting season within the Tualatin River Watershed. Clean Water Services, Friends of Trees, thousands of volunteers, other non-profits, City partners, and private landowners will all be working together to make this happen! Beaverton's Mayor Doyle and other community partners will also be in attendance.

Arrive as early as 8:30am to meet these Tree for All partners, partake of refreshments and enter to win a commemorative Tree for All cap, courtesy of David Evans & Associates. This special Friday event is part of Portland Park Foundation's Parke Diem day of parks service. Help remove invasive ivy and spread mulch to prepare this area for a planting later this season.

Have fun and help out at Columbia Springs! We will work on several projects around our site and end with a fun activity. Projects may include gardening, painting, trail maintenance, and more. Volunteers of all ages and abilities are welcome! Children under 14 are welcome with parent or guardian supervision and teens under 16 with parent or guardian permission. Snacks and tools provided. Please bring sturdy shoes, appropriate outdoor work clothing, a water bottle, and your enthusiasm for helping the community! "Gorgeous Relay" Race Volunteers Needed!

Friends has teamed up with Gorgeous Relay to provide volunteers along the scenic race course from Wyeth, OR to the Willamette for this fun relay run event. We'll need 22 friendly individuals to be stationed along the race course to direct traffic and runners at relay exchanges, and Friends will receive $100 for each of you that volunteer! While teams will be running for the full day, your shift will be just 3-5 hours. The race will end with a celebration party at Basecamp Brewing in Portland.
